Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This summer voluntary organisation Thames 21 is installing 250 metres of 'floating ecosystems' into the Lea Navigation and they need volunteer help.

The Community Reedbeds project was started when seven hundred people placed a vote on where they would like to see a reedbed.

They need volunteer help to build these (on land), and the get them into the water where they will create new habitats for wildlife and help break down pollutants. No previous experience is required.

If you're able to attend any of the events listed below, you need to register by emailing Ben.fenton@thames21.org.uk. These will be full day events, full details will be listed on the website this week www.thames21.org.uk/events. There will be a limited number of spaces for each event.
