And your point, Clive in linking the three news items was ? ? ?

About the Inquest in Tottenham into a child's death, I know nothing more than everyone can read for themselves in the local press. But while I often disagree with Clive, I've learned enough about him to believe he would not exploit the death of a child for Party political purposes.

Nor would he put Party interest above the rights of individuals to fair treatment by the police; and to proper legal process.

Alan the third item appears to be related to the following news:

Man charged with murder of six-month-old baby in north London

Dear H o L Readers,

Last year I wrote to my - and some of your - local MP, Ms Lynne Featherstone, re the Cyril Smith case and the developments within investigating CSA.

She was good enough to reply and also referred my concern on within the Home Office.

That was in September .

I then wrote again earlier this year, with this follow up dated 12 Jan.

" Dear Ms Featherstone,

Re the ongoing Cyril Smith / CSA Enquiry.

You will have seen in the press the recent suggestion that the CSA Enquiry team is to be disbanded, along with some less than flattering portrayals of HO civil servants who seem to be obstructing the process - rather than doing what they are paid for, which is to help Ms May get this off of the ground.

From your perspective as Home Office Minister - what is the anticipated next step and what kind of timeframe do you think will apply here ?
I'm hoping that those who suspect that this is being both deliberately botched and / or kicked into the long grass, will be shown to have unfounded fears by your reply.

Thanks in anticipation.

Steve Wilkins "
Two subsequent re-sends of the same email have yet to garner a response, while our news media have detailed a slew of further allegations affecting organisations from unemployed minor royals, to recently deceased ex-cabinet ministers, ex-pop stars, a member of the House of Lords who it is suggested has suffered rapid onset dementia, an entire  town council cabinet and the release of cabinet papers which indicate Prime ministerial awareness of  " unnatural sexual behaviour ," evinced by a senior member of the diplomatic service who was never properly investigated.
Any thoughts as to why Ms Featherstone has gone so quiet on this issue ?
( Last time I posted on this issue all manner of the unhinged went for me.
Please feel free to do this again, but I feel honour bound to advise you that one of my late dad's most valuable pieces of advice to me was that " There is nothing to be gained from arguing with a berk..")
Put your letter in the form of specific and non-judgmental questions and submit it as a Freedom of Information request....they will then be obliged to provide an answer within 20 working days
