I came across this postcard sent to a local address in 1910. The figure on the right looked very familiar.

Great Stuff! Yet another attack on St Jeremy by the so-called liberal media(continues for 94 pages)

Uncanny, and standing to the far left as you would expect.

Does anyone else look at a date like 1910 and read it as In My Lifetime?  I can still write 1976 and it looks quite correct.

I can distinctly remember writing 6/6/66 in a school book.. 

And following on the theme: Tottenham on the rocks on the Côte d'Azur in 1953.

You did then.. not anymore, I think..  Just like the Frozen Orange Juice ..

You do realise Stephen that there's a whole bunch of young folk who have no idea what we're going on about!
I wrote the current year as 1916 on a cheque last week. Can't get used to this new century business.
