Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Tottenham MP David Lammy plans a grand finale for his London-wide mayoral campaign tour on his home turf this weekend.

He said: “I’ve been all over London during this campaign, now I’m looking forward to finishing my 20/20 Tour in my home borough.

For his 'homecoming' appearance, David Lammy has chosen a location outside Hornsey Town Hall in Crouch End. You can see him there tomorrow (Saturday, August 1) from midday to 1pm.

I note that warmonger Lammy who has previously never been noted for left wing tendencies has nominated Jeremy Corbyn for the leadership election(but strangely quiet on who he will support) I hear the faint ringing of opportunistic bells here....David of course has been happy to take money from property developer Jonathan Goldstein to back his mayoral bid. Considering Haringey council's vile plans to redevelop Broadwater Farm to cash in on rising house prices and begin the social cleansing which is clearly their plan, it says something about Lammy's commitment to the people of Tottenham. Not surprising that he should wind up at Crouch End, since he is rarely spotted in Tottenham....

So appropriate that our hero whose heart if not his head has always been at the heart of Tottenham should pitch his grand finale so close to Tottenham Lane. A shade nearer than Tottenham Court Road, I suppose.

I guess he nominated Jeremy for Leader because his Hackney rival, Diane, had already done so. I just love the idea of Jeremy as both Leader and London King/Queen-maker. I've already nominated Jeremy for Pope after Francis. Integrity before piety or hypocrisy, say I.
