Design Museum Kensington ... now open

The Design Museum, now open at its new Kensington location, housed in the old Commonwealth building. Very popular in its first weekend with queues way out to the main road.

Biggest improvement on its old Thames River set-up is the permanent collection is now free to see. There are of course exhibtions that you can pay for, food places & a shop. The interior is impressive but then it should be after years of refurb and 10s of millions spent!

Many different areas of design covered, as well as the past, present & future ... jacket made from human hair anyone?! ....
