dial-a-Ride

I've just seen yet another empty Dial-a-Ride bus in Crouch End .
does anybody use the service? I contacted them a couple of years ago when my gout started getting more painful and they replied by sending me a wad of A4 but none of it showed me how, where and when .. but I do see the buses frequently and they are always empty..what a waste of taxpayers money!
