DIY person for small jobs needed
Hi,
I'm looking for a reliable, reasonable, good, handy person for a few small jobs that I have. My usual person is on holiday.
I need a small fence mended, a couple of lampshades assembled and put up, a blind put up, a lock on a bathroom window and a fire alarm installed.
The blind is fairly urgent but the other things can wait a little bit, although it would be nice to get them done!

Barry, aka Handy on the Hill, is reliable, honest, has all the kit and thinks outside the box for odd problems. He won't necessarily be the cheapest but I found him through recommendation and have no hesitation in recommending.
He tends to be booked up well in advance, works in half or whole days — but having cleared a backlog of jobs I'm now seriously considering booking 6-monthly slots
