Experiences of people with Mental Health problems making good employees?

I run a new service within Haringey to help people accessing Secondary Care Mental Health Services (Canning Crescent Community Mental Health Centre) takes steps back into paid employment.

This initiative is co-sponsored by Haringey Council, Public Health England, DWP Job Centre Plus and the NHS through Barnet Enfield Haringey Mental Health Trust.

The model used is called Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and have been proven to be a cost effective method of assisting people rebuild their lives.

Service users can benefit from Volunteering, Learning, Work Placements and part-time and full-time paid employment. All service users are Haringey residents and if you can help support this service by offering any opportunities then please get in touch.
