Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hidden in amongst the long grass of a planning application to extend the flats in the four units of Grand Parade (13-16) to the south of Salisbury Road is a note showing that the owner of the building is seeking to significantly increase the size of the ground floor retail space. This fairly significant extension to the rear would allow a significant increase of floorspace to 13-15, the currently illegal new Turkish restaurant.

One has to wonder if this figured in any of the plans of the new leaseholder.

They know exactly what they are doing.

What he said.

Im confused? If this new restaurant that in my opinion has been really badly refurbished is illegal why has Haringey council not taken any action? is there an up to date thread? I've had a look but can't seem to find one.

Apparently they can't take any enforcement action until the place starts trading. Sounds stupid but apparently that's the way it is. This is all covered in more detail in some of the other threads. Use the tag under my post above to find the other threads
Thanks!
