For Sale - Antique Scandinavian Storage Bench - £400

I am reluctantly selling our Scandinavian storage bench as it doesn't fit with our current dining set up. The bench is antique. I had it shipped over from Denmark about 12 years ago but was told it originally came from Sweden. These benches were used in Scandinavia from the 1500s to ca. 1900 at farms where they during the day acted as seating and folded out at night as a bed for the maid or a couple of kids. The bed element doesn't work on our bench. These benches are very popular in Scandinavia either at a dining table or hallway and they provide great storage. 

This is a solid piece of furniture, Scandinavian grey, with a few marks reflecting age.  It is located on Lausanne Road where it would have to be collected from.  It measures 196cm in width, 55cm in depth and 74cm in height.

Sheepskin and cushions are not included in the price.
