Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A really friendly ginger cat is trying to move into my house on the West Green end of Langham Road.  It arrived yesterday (Sunday) late afternoon and has been hanging around ever since.

Is anyone missing him?  I think he is quite young - about a year at a guess.  Our cat is not very impressed about having a visitor, so it would be great to find his real home!

What a lovely cat! Well done for trying to find the owner, hopefully someone nearby will know the cat.

If no neighbours recognise it, you could take it to your vet to be scanned for free to see if microchipped. A vet will also confirm whether the cat is male or female and whether it needs neutering.

If the cat is not microchipped, maybe try putting a temporary collar on the cat with a note attached with your tel no and see if any owner calls you. I always encourage cat owners to get their cat neutered, microchipped and have a cat flap and keep their cat safe inside at night. In addition to microchipping, these personalised collars are useful www.kittycollars.co.uk as owner's phone number can be printed on the collar.

Another useful website is www.animalsearchuk.co.uk as you can put details/photo on there if you find a pet. Then anyone who has registered a lost cat on there will be automatically notified. It's free to do this.

Stokey Cats and Dogs are good at helping with lost and found pets. There are also good tips on their website on what to do if you find or lose a cat. www.stokeycatsanddogs.co.uk

Hi Justine,
