The 40:20 Haringey Climate Forum has launched its community grants programme for 2016-17.
The programme aims to encourage community initiatives to cut carbon emissions, for example through energy efficiency, renewable energy, reducing motor traffic or reducing waste.
Last year grants were awarded to the Edible Landscapes local food growing project; and to the JAN Trust to educate BAME women in home energy efficiency. Both projects completed successfully.
Further information and application forms can be obtained from quentin.given@btinternet.com and will shortly be made available on the Haringey Climate Forum website haringey4020.org.uk
Application deadline is 12 September.
