Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Council is to carry out a survey of residents to find out where there are drainage problems in the borough.

A London wide study, carried out by the Greater London Authority (GLA), looking at drainage across the city, identified several areas of Haringey that might be prone to drainage problems.

The areas identified range from Hornsey to Tottenham. The Council will now carry out its own face to face survey in these areas, asking residents specific questions about drainage problems.

This will check the accuracy of the GLA survey and will help the Council identify exactly where water tends to collects and where there may be problems.

Residents affected by drainage problems who are not contacted by the survey may participate by emailing their experiences to: Emergencyplanning@haringey.gov.uk.
