This is our mission: The Haringey Forum for Older People exists to give the older residents of Haringey a collective voice and to ensure that this voice is heard by those who make decisions regarding services used by older people. We will get actively involved in influencing any decisions made both locally and nationally that will impact on Haringey’s older community. We strive to combat age discrimination and to be totally inclusive of all older people irrespective of gender, disability, ethnic origin, marital status, political alliance, religious beliefs and sexual orientation.
An AGM will be taking place at Tottenham Town Hall at 3 PM (in HAIL’s room) on Friday, May 13, Approach Road, London, N15 4RY.
The meeting will take place after the HealthWatch/Haringey Forum meeting on End of Life Care called Let's talk about Dying.
This is a very important AGM for our membership. Because of the cuts in funding we are the only remaining one in Haringey working on behalf of the Borough‘s older people and receive no grant to operate. We really want to keep it going.
Please come and give the Forum your support - it really needs it to be able to continue.
