Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Passenger numbers are surging and 4 car trains are on the way soon to manage demand so was wondering why is there no move to gate all of the stations on the Goblin line to improve security and reduce the amount of ticketless travel that goes on!

I'm led to believe three original station buildings still exist on the Goblin at Crouch Hill, Upper Holloway and Harringay, Green Lanes which if brought back into use would preserve the line heritage and allow for access to the stations to be secured

This would bring these three stations in line with the new gate lines at South Tottenham, Leytonstone, Gospel Oak etc. Does anybody know are these station buidlings in private ownership? the one in Harringay seems to be leased to a cafe and I can see a planning application was defeated to demolish the crouch hill building recently to build flats - can LOROL get them back and bring them back into use?

Harringay Green Lanes could copy South Tottenham by closing the north gate and give access to the east bound platform by the underpass. The restored bridge at Upper Holloway means the north exit could be closed and direct people to the reopened station building. Crouch Hill has no footbridge so one would need one built perhaps as part of an access for all lifts scheme - but all possible and worthy if passenger numbers continue to rise.

Obviously it's an asthetic point but it does seem such a shame with the amount of investment being planned for the line, electrification, new trains etc that more is not being made of these remaining heritage buildings which are so visible at street level.
