Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This is very frustrating and confusing. As far as I can tell there is no clear warning sign on Whiteman road, but please correct me if I've missed. I don't drive, but several people that have given me a lift home recently were frustrated at having to go all round the houses again to get onto Grand Parade. (I'm accept that traffic on the ladder needs to be managed, but a clear sign would help).

Yes there are two signs on Wightman - one for each direction.

Alas, there's only one now, the yellow advisory sign on a lamp post alerting southbound Wightman traffic has gone (cable ties and all).

And talking of missing signs, there's still no 'weight restriction' sign for HGVs turning off westbound Turnpike Lane onto Wightman Rd. John D has been trying for months and months to get that one (which makes the weight restriction enforceable) replaced, so I'd be surprised if a purely advisory sign makes a reappearance.

The more confused people are (and the less they use our roads as rat runs), the better!

I wasn't intending that comment to be taken too seriously, Pav.

As far as I know, Hewitt is the only road that has a no right turn restriction on it.
