How does one post a photo in the dialogue box?

Go to the grey strip at the bottom of any page and choose "How to on HOL". Then choose "How to embed pictures".

Your level of tech knowledge clearly outstrips mine! Thank you for the feedback. It really helps. What I understand from what you've written is that the site ain't working well for you and you're getting old pages loading. Is that correct?

Is anyone else experiencing any issues?

I composed a Mailbox message a few minutes ago and when I pressed " send " it just stuck forever saying " sending " When I left the site and rejoined it went successfully ( after tediously retyping ).

This on a home PC and wired connection.

Ben, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a grey strip. In the grey strip, under the heading "USING HOL", you will see the words "How to on HoL". Click on that. On the page that takes you to, you will see the words "How to embed pictures" Click on that and follow the instructions on the page it takes you to.
