Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Check this muppet out at the bottom of Pemberton this morning making a delivery to Yasha.

He had somehow managed to get his front wheel buried in the sand below the paving stones. His bumper bar was pretty much stuck on the pavement. I can only assume he broke through the slabs with the weight of the truck! I could hear his wheels spinning and digging out more sand as he tried to get out.

The highways guy who was there was not impressed! I reckon the only way out was with a very big, strong tow truck. You can also see the after effect of his schoolboy error.

Eek!

OK, I have embedded the pictures and updated the post that I created from my phone earlier.

Enjoy!

Lost for words.
Do you think they will take any action against the driver or the company he works for?

What on earth was he doing on the pavement on the first place? What a mess.

I hope so. A highways guy was there so I assume that some action would be taken- I hope that we will not foot the bill.

As to your second question a clue is in the second picture. The lorries pile up on the right hand side trying to deliver to Yasha, and I expect there was no where for this guy to go but the gap in the paid and controlled parking areas at the bottom of the road. Of course, the fact that he has a massive lorry means he has to tuck in where he can! It can be real mess sometimes down there with so much being delivered. Yasha's success has a price...
