I think you will find that potholes are nothing to do with large vehicles its to do with extreme cold weather conditions and the fact that Haringey Council can't be bothered to fill them in so they just get worse and worse. They have been there for months and nothing has been done about it. Maybe they could clean the streets once in a while and fill the holes with that!

I don't think last winter was extremely cold. I had to scrape ice off the car windscreen only about three or four times over the winter. It's all down to neglect by the Council and ludicrous organisation.
There were a number of potholes in the car park behind M&S in Muswell Hill. I saw one being repaired and I asked were they going to do the others, there being several within 20 feet. The man in charge said they were only going to fill in the one that had been reported: not any others.
