Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Interested in local nature? Help us count butterflies at Railway Fields - learn how on Saturday 28th July

Are you interested in nature - in particular butterflies?

Do you have time to make occasional visits to Railway Fields on sunny days during the summer?

We're looking for volunteers to join our Friends of Railway Fields butterfly survey team - come and learn how it's done during our summer event next weekend, 28 July, at 3.30pm. (Just drop in and join the walk/talk on the day.)

  • It's simple to do, and butterfly knowledge/experience of doing surveys isn't needed
  • It's not a big commitment - just do a survey when you can
  • Our surveys are part of Butterfly Conservation's UK monitoring scheme, so you'll be contributing to an important national picture of how butterflies are doing in the UK
  • And, as Sir David Attenborough says, it's a wonderful way to spend more time with nature

If you are interested in joining the survey team but can't join us on 28th, or just want to find out more, email us at friendsofrailwayfields@gmail.com
