Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Has anybody here found a clever way to let this pesky return visitor know that its presence is even less desired than Theresa May's?

In as soon as you see them popping up or around August, just before they flower, cut the tops off and drip neat glyposate inside the stems. Cover with a plastic bag and marvel in their death... Dispose of them via burning to a crisp.

Your dog will be at very low risk if you go down the cut stem+drip in glyphosate route, as long as you keep it away from the treated area for 12 hours or so and you check that its not curious about licking the cut stems.

Spraying the standing established plants carries a bit more risk, though glyphosate is allegedly safe once the liquid spray has dried.

Take the advice of the RHS link I sent you.
