Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Did anyone else get a letter from Network Rail today about another public meeting next Wednesday 20th April? I managed to throw it away by accident just as the bin men came! Can anyone tell me the time and venue...?

Wednesday 20 April, 1830 - 2000 "St Pauls Harringay" by which they really mean the church hall as previously. "An opportunity to meet the project team"   Doesn't say if people other than Network Rail staff/contractors will be there.

Thanks Gordon. We Umfrevillians must be the first to get this letter. I will be going to moan about the road blocks mainly. Someone is going to get hurt if they don't sort it out.
Nope, haven't had one and nothing about it on the dedicated Haringey web page either

It could be that they' haven't reached the rest of us yet. By way of belt and braces, Gordon, would you mind snapping the letter with your phone and posting it for the rest of us. Email me if it's easier for you.

If this is a planned meeting, it's a bit odd that it wasn't mentioned in yesterday's Council update.

Thanks to Gordon:

Thanks Hugh, this is the first I have heard about it, other than Antoinette's comment a moment ago on another thread.

Me too. I'm guessing they're starting on Umf and working their way north. Odd it's not been flagged by the Council though.

"Further to our recent drop-in session . . . . we would like to invite you to another information event . . . ."

". . . an opportunity to meet the project team who will be on-hand to answer any questions" etc

Sounds to me like a small scale drop-in session rather than "a public meeting", Antoinette.

It's to soften Umfreville & Burgoyne residents up for the imminent reopening of Wightman Rd.

Great...can't wait
