Local businesses quoted in Observer article on Vote Leave's comments on Turkey

Yesterday's Observer had quite a long piece on the response of Turk's to Vote Leave's targeting of Turkey in their advertising. 

The piece, "Why are they making us out to be such a threat?’: Turks react to Vo..." includes interviews with staff from Dostlar, Ozcan & Safir Jewellers, Right Holidays and Gold Bar jewellers (was the journalist shopping for some jewellery?).

I do like this quote:

"“If you can lie, then you become a politician. Why are they making us out to be such a threat?”

It's worth noting that Vote Leave are lying when they claim that Turkey will be joining the EU in the next 5 years. All EU member states, including the UK, have a veto on any EU enlargement & many of them are against Turkey joining at the moment. If the decision day does come one day (and they haven't got very far with the accession process so far), then the elected UK Government would have to vote in favour.
