Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This male white & tabby cat called Frazzle has been reported as lost since 10th October from N8 area. No collar, 2 years old, recently moved to N8 home. Dark lining around his right eye and spot on left hand side of his nose. Please lookout for him.

He is neutered, but unfortunately not yet microchipped.

His owner has put details on Animal Search

Animal Rescue charities like The Scratching Post recommend that it's vital for cats to be neutered and microchipped. Adult cats enjoy catflap access to a back garden and and they need catflap access to get back inside their home. They advise locking the catflap at night so that cats are safe inside at night as it reduces the risk of them getting lost or injured.

Update - Frazzle was found on 26th October

Yes, I have seen him a great deal on Trinity Road between Greek Church and The Prince pub. I think he may have also been mentioned on the Bowes and Bounds website.

Thanks a lot Andrew. I've sent a message to the owner.

In the meantime, if you see the cat again, if possible, try to take a close up photo of the cat's face - also would be great if you or a neighbour could get the cat safe inside if roaming out the front.

Owner's tel number is 07787 147778. Please call if you find Frazzle.

There was a cat was on the Harringay Ladder earlier in the week that sermed lost.I managed to get a picture and it looks similar. The cat ran off when I tried to get closer.

Thanks Dawn for taking a photo. It is not the lost cat Frazzle, but very similar. Was the cat you saw out the front? Was it in Pemberton Rd area or on which ladder road?

I think I recognise the cat in your photo - as that cat was reported roaming late at night in the street last month. Antonella took the cat to the vet to be scanned to see if chipped. The cat was chipped, but the owner had not registered their contact details with the microchip company so owner could not be contacted. However, in the end, she found the owner on Pemberton Rd.

I'll mention about the cat to Antonella so that she can tell the owner. I'll check if she gave the owner cat care advice. Rescue places recommend that cats need a catflap - for access to the back garden and they need catflap access to get back inside their home. They advise locking the catflap at night so that cats are safe inside at night as it reduces the risk of them getting lost or injured. It's not safe for a cat to be out the front due to danger of the road.

Hi

Yes on Pemberton Rd and out the front. Sorry it wasn't Frazzle hope
He is found soon.

Dawn
I spoke to the owner's son last night and he is putting posters up near where I have seen this cat - Trinity Road.. Hopefully he will find him soon.

Thanks a lot Dawn and Andrew.

Good news - apparently Frazzle was found on 26th October and is back home with his owner, safe and well.
