Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Can anyone recommend a good marriage counselor? Lots of them listed online, but would like some "reviews"!

The Tavistock centre for couples relationships (TCCR) is very good. They have rooms in Central London Warren Street and Liverpool Street and charge on a sliding scale
Can't reccoemend highly enough. Although there maybe a waiting list. The more flexible you are with times the more likely you will get to see a therapist sooner. I only waited 2 weeks as could go in the daytime. Saved my relationship going!!
Good luck

Thank you Emma. Will look into it

As a BACP registered and accredited counsellor may I suggest you use the BACP directory, called It's good to talk, which also has much useful information on it about therapy? Everyone listed has to be registered or registered and accredited. Because of few jobs available in the NHS, the formulaic approach to therapy within the NHS and contraction of the voluntary sector, many of those at the end of training are setting up in private practice (getting qualified represents only one stage of one's journey) without that many hours of clinical experience. Candidates for accreditation must have at least 450 hours. Other bodies like UKCP can also advise. Agree with Emma that TCCR is an authoritative body in this field.
