Music & Beans Opens Tomorrow

Penguin Music's Emre Kubilay is opening the doors of Music & Beans on Green Lanes tomorrow. He invited me down for a quick nose around whilst he's getting everything ship-shape. Judging by the constant stream of people who followed me in as soon as the door was open, things are going to go well for Emre. There were several enquiries after the purchase of musical instruments as well as music lessons - both of which will be available in the shop along with some pretty good coffee (on the evidence of today's tasting) - so bless all who sail in her!

Emre let me 'test' his coffee last Thursday and it was very tasty. The original tiled floor and jazzy painting is very good but I cannot wait for his Sunday avo live jazz gigs planned to start soon too.

I was willing Music & Beans to have great coffee.... and they do! Wuhoo! Great to be able to get a really decent cup of coffee at this end of the high street.
