New River Festival in the Making
The coldest meeting I've ever attended - outside at the Finsbury Park Cafe
I joined a very well attended meeting this afternoon in Finsbury Park to start planning for a festival to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the New River.
Scheduled for September, the festival will be a linear one with all kinds of events happening between the Reservoirs at Manor House/Stoke Newington, up to Finsbury Park in Harringay.
I was glad to see plenty of representation there from Harringay, including from the Ladder, the Gardens and the Hermitage Road area.

Hi Hugh, it was a great meeting- thanks for coming! As you say, anyone who's interested can simply get in touch with me to say so and I'll put them on the invite list for the next meeting for the Manor House PACT New River Festival 2013. There are lots of ways to help out.
