Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi,

Does anyone where these have come from? There's one on Sydney Road, Raleigh Road, and Hampden Road. So I'm presuming they go all the way down the ladder. I think they're great - and am looking forward to them all flowering.

I just hope they don't get vandalised - or worse, get used as rubbish bins!

Thanks,

Marc.

p.s. I have had a look on the forums and can't find this being discussed before...apologies if I have missed a previous thread.

It's done by some busy body neighbours who call themselves the Friends of Harringay Passage and meet once a week for an hour before going to the pub for the rest of the night.

Excellent!  Thanks John.

Cheers,

Marc.

Daffs on wheels..

Ah well done, and thank you both! I saw this planter on Sydney yesterday and it did make me smile!

If one has appeared on your street (there aren't enough for every junction) can you keep an eye on them, if we do have a dry spell could you do a spot of watering, thanks.

The Hampden Road one is outside my house. I will look after it with my life!

I really don't know what to say...

The Hampden Road plants just do not look like they're in the mood to flower anytime soon.

They may have been attacked. I know...I only had one job...protect the flowers.

Killed by dog, cat and rat wee possibly from too much ammonia perhaps ?
Give them time but if they are not happy or don't flower, feel free to supplement with something else. Violas, petunias, or any small cheap bedding plant will do just fine in a container.
