Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The following image was one of a dozen or so on a double-page spread in the Tatler of 12 Oct 1904 entitled, "OUR PRETTY CHILDREN COMPETITION - ONE OF THESE CHILDREN MAY WIN THE TATLER SILVER- CUP". It's nice to put a face to another of the residents of the past.

It seems that Harringay continued to feature in the Tatler every now and again. The queen's visit in 1956 made a splash and some years later, on 19th March 1966, the following appeared. I suppose they had some column inches to fill.
