Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

It's nearly that spooky time of year again and that means pumpkin lanterns!

This often means that come November the creative masterpiece, lovingly hand carved from a delicious vegetable by you and your little ones often just gets binned.

To change all that, this year, North London residents can discover the pumpkin afterlife with cooking and composting classes to rescue all that potential deliciousness and compost.

On 28th October there's an event running at Lordship Eco Park during the day (10:30 - 12:30) that will be repeated in the evening (18:00 - 20:00).

Host, Renee, will be guiding people through pumpkin fritters, pumpkin chutney and pumpkin soda bread. Stick around and eat it too.

Fancy dress costumes and Pimped Pumpkins welcome! The session is open to any level of culinary ability. All food and materials will be provided. You will ned to book tickets in advance but there is no fee (though if you want to make a donation to the Lordship Hub on the day you are welcome to do so).

See event details in our events section.
