Scam alert on R4 You and Yours

On today's You and Yours there was an item about scam emails purporting to come from charities, thanking you for a donation and asking you to click a link. Which of course downloads something bad.

A spokesperson from the Migrant Helpline (which was the example where a listener had received a fake email) said categorically that they did not send unsolicited emails - so beware. 

I'm flagging this up because I know that people in our area are supportive of such charities, and I don't want anyone to get mislead. Item was just before 12.45, Radio 4, Friday 27th.
