I've plenty of bits and bobs I've been meaning to put on Ebay that I'd happily donate to you instead. Sounds like a tremendous idea.

Thank you so much for the offer and your excitement.

We're just finalising the list of items we can/can't accept (i.e. we won't be accepting items like prams, car-seats or cots as if they are faulty and something happens to a baby, we would be devastated). We've looked at the policies of other charities and followed their lead.

The list thus far is:

Items We Can’t Sell:

• Designer Branded Clothes (We can’t be sure they are not counterfeit).
• Designer Branded Bags (We can’t be sure they are not counterfeit).
• No Perfume (We can’t be sure they are not counterfeit).
• Cosmetics (incl. Hair Dye) (We can’t be sure they are not counterfeit).
• No Earrings (For Hygiene)
• No Candles (If faulty can cause fires)
• Electric Blankets (If faulty can cause fires/burns)
• Electric Showers (If faulty can cause fires/burns)
• Tanning Equipment (If faulty can cause fires/burns)
• Gas Appliances (If faulty can cause fires)
• Life Jackets/Life Saving Equipment (if faulty can cause death).
• Fire Safety Equipment (if faulty can cause death).
• Weapons (including knives, swords)
• Non-original DVDs/CDs (Piracy).
• Used Pillows/Duvets (Hygiene/Can’t be sure they are fire retardant)
• Medication
• Food and Drink (Can’t be sure of contamination)
• Cleaning products
• Toys without CE mark.

Items We Will Not Be Selling:

• Clothes
• Damaged goods
• Broken Furniture
