Shooting on Wightman Rd - Tuedsay 30th August. Please contact 101 or Crimestoppers if you saw anything

Police were called at 15:26hrs on Tuesday, 30 August to Wightman Road, N8, to reports of a man who had been injured.

Officers attended and found an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot shot injury to his head.
The London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended and the man was taken to hospital. His injury is being treated as life threatening.
There have been no arrests. Cordons are in place.

The Trident and Area Crime Command have been informed and are now investigating.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident continue.
