Strange Adroid phone issue...help please?

Lately when entering my email on my android phone(typically an online petition) my email is automatically changed to a mish mash including the word 'ethanol'. Can't seem to find a way to change it. My Google autofill setting show the correct email. Any ideas? Have rebooted phone.
