Tapas at Moka - Hidden gem!

Last Friday, I went for dinner at Moka (Wightman Road) for one of their Tapas evenings.  I won't bore everyone with a review but rather encourage anyone to go and try it.  Genuinely some of the best food I've had in the area.  If you haven't been before, it's definitely worth going up there for the next one.

Yes the food at Moka is amazing. I see that the evening tapas will be back in Sept.

Moka is our favourite place to go for lunch. The daily specials are delicious!

This is my nearest cafe and I go there for coffee. Recovering from an operation I thought I'd try pottering up there for lunch. Very disappointed. Had salad with so little dressing on I had to ask for more and a quiche that they'd stuck in the microwave for a bit so it was luke warm and soggy. Chef is obviously good but whoever plates the stuff up isn't, or wasn't. Friends tell me to try again. Mmmmm

Definitely try again. I go up there regularly for lunch and it's always been lovely. Everyone deserves a second chance : )

I will! Thanks for encouraging me - my friends tell me the same.  The food was delicious, it was just the preparation that wasn't but perhaps they had someone who didn't know not to put anything with pastry in the microwave.  I'll be explicit next time!
