Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Anyone who walks down Hewitt in the mid to late summer can't fail to notice the huge lavender bursting out of one of the houses on the north side of the road and covering the whole of its front wall.

It's always full of flowers and bees and the smell is almost overpowering. One of Harringay's unsung delights. If we were still giving out Beautiful Harringay awards, I'd want a category just to accommodate this wonderful plant.

Holy Innocents churchyard

Nicely framed. Good use of shallow depth of field.
Not like the one Hugh took whilst clearly drunk.

I am trying hard to make the beds on Pemberton like this. Give it a few years. We are making good progress!

Beautiful

There's another on Umfreville, near Green Lanes.         Fifteen     bumblebees on it this evening.
