Did anyone else hear the two bouts of loud tyre squealing last night, late-ish? Then a load of police sirens.
Anyone any idea what was going on?
Seemed like yesterday was a weird day in Harringay. There was a three girl scrap in Argos, I got verbal crossing the road, and then someone was driving a car hard...

I heard it – at first I thought it was the squeaking wheels of a train.
May have been someone doing "doughnuts".
This is a popular pastime in New Zealand in certain circles, especially Christchurch. I was interested recently to note that when the police prosecute someone for spinning tyres for more than two seconds, the charge is: a Sustained Loss of Traction.
