Volunteers needed for Wednesday afternoon veg packing

Want to help a local organisation change our food system? Want to make new friends in the community and try some fantastically fresh and seasonal fruit and veg? Well read on.

Every Wednesday afternoon between 2 and 6pm, we sort the deliveries of vegetables from our farmers at our base in Hornsey Vale Community Centre. All the veg is put into our customers' individual bags before it's delivered to all our collection points around Haringey.

We're looking for volunteers that can help with packing the bags.

No previous experience is necessary. It helps if you like vegetables, music from the 80s/90s and can lift 10kg bags of carrots.

Punctuality is a must – we're working against the clock so time is of the essence!
