What size / breed of dog ?

hi John

its a beagle cross,big for a beagle,the size of a golden retriever more or less,slimmer,

very quiet at home,never heard him bark,sleeps a lot,likes to be close to people and cuddles,

loves kids, we have  3 year old twins girls that will do absolutely everything to him,he is either indifferent or scared of other dogs,don't know his reaction with cats,

does get a bit excited outside and tends to pull the lead ,we are training him and he is a bit better with that now ,nevertheless still has is hunting genes.

do you know someone local that could offer boarding ,it would break my heart to leave him in a kennel.

9 days,including drop off day(end afternoon around 4/5) and pick up day(mid morning around 10/11)

There is a couple who have a dog hotel. I often see them walk the dogs in Stationers Park. They are in Crouch End but I don't have any more details I'm afraid
