Wanted! Knocking hole in non-load-bearing wall & installing window builder

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a quick, affordable and reliable builder who can simply cut and knock a section of exterior wall out (non load bearing) and install a casement window?

I know it's an easy job, if i had my own angle-grinder i'd do it myself probably!

Thanks for any advice!

Hi there, just want to check you aren't in a listed building or the window is on the front of your house? This may need planning consent. Also if you're in a flat - you may need freeholder consent. Any queries on this, let me know.

Hi, i'm not sure it's allowed to advertise ones own businesses here in this manner, seeing as it's unrelated to my question. However, i am well versed in planning and conservation laws and do not have any restrictions where the window is to go. I am 100% freeholder of the entire house. It is the back of my house, the window will be overlooking my garden and not overlooked anyone else. Now, can anyone suggest any helpful builders please....?!

For clarification, we do allow posts from commercial entities where they appear to be factual and responding to a query and occasional. In this case, I think we'd judge that the response was helpful and does appear to speak to the question raised. So, we'll let it stand.

Where responses appear in volume, we'd probably rate them as spam and take action to remove them. Businesses will also likely find that postings judged at the quantity of spam will be counter-productive.

Whilst we allow a businesses to mention their name in a helpful response, we don't encourage the addition of contact info or hyperlinks.

Any advertising fee paid to post in the forum covers a single new posting rather than responses.

Okay thanks. Great you've got everything in hand.

We have paid the advertising fee, just trying to be helpful.

Good luck with the works.

Thank you so much that certainly is a good recommendation! If anyone else has any recommendations also i'd be delighted to hear about them.
