Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi,

I have a friend who has found out she's pregnant. She can only stay with family for a limited amount of time as they do not have space for her and a baby. Is she entitled to some sort of housing from the council? She has grown up in the area and has a strong connection to Harringay. Is she entitled to any other help as well?

Thanks for your help!

Has your friend been to her GP yet? Her GP or her midwife might be able to signpost her to some advice. She could also try visiting her local children's centre as they can signpost her to the right agencies to help her. Where does she live? There is Woodlands Park children's centre in Woodlands Park Road which is our local centre for Harringay, but there are others around Tottenham.

Your friend may be considered in priority need as she is pregnant. She needs to speak to Haringey Housing Advice as soon as possible. Details in the link below.
