What’s behind the wall? – A walk around St Ann’s Hospital

St Ann’s Redevelopment Trust (StART) are in the process of putting together an alternative plan for the redevelopment of the hospital site. We believe that the site is local asset that should be run by the community for the community. Unless you have been admitted as a patient, or visited it for outpatient services, many local people don’t know what lies beyond the wall that surrounds the hospital. We are organising a walk around the site so that people can see the buildings and appreciate the green spaces, and we will also be trying to find some of the rare trees that are listed in this booklet. The tour will be led by the Estates Manager.

Understanding and appreciating what is already there should give us a better idea of the sort of development we want. Come along, have a look and have your say about what should be provided on the site.
