A few responses. it seems the local business were worried  about lack of parking....

Hello Ben,

 

I am sorry but there has been an error on the leaflet relating to parking restrictions, the correct information is shown on the website and I have included it below for you.

 

 On all event days the following parking controls will be in operation within the London Borough of Haringey:

 

*    Implementation of the Finsbury Park, B & C CPZs - for full operational hours please visit the parking page    https://secure.haringey.gov.uk/environment-and-transport/parking/co...

 

 *    Additional parking restrictions prohibiting stopping, waiting and loading in Stroud Green Road, Endymion Road, Station Place, Rock Street and Seven

     Sisters Road to ensure the movement of traffic and exit of concert goers

 

 I do not believe that the roads listed below in your email fall into the above CPZ zones so there should be no additional parking restrictions on the

 road.

 

This matter was discussed at the Finsbury Park Stakeholder Group which is represented by both residents and business, there was a clear desire to not   

 have restrictions on these roads as they proved restrictive for local people and businesses. We will take your concerns forward for further discussion

 with the group.

Dear residents,

 

I have discussed the concerns you have all expressed over the fact that there will be no additional parking restrictions in roads off Endymion Road N4 for the forthcoming Finsbury park Event with the Highways Team. I understand that there are plans to look at extending the match day and event days CPZ and as a result of this I have been advised by Highways that they are arranging some parking pressure surveys for this coming weekend to determine the levels of parking bay occupancy in the Lothair Road north/south, Tancred, Venetia Road area. We will repeat this exercise on a weekend when there is not an event within the park to provide a comparison.

 

The results of this will feed into arrangements for future events within the park and therefore any possible alterations to the overall Finsbury Park and Green Lanes CPZs.

 

Whilst I appreciate you will not have restrictions for this years event the survey allows for an informed decision to be made with evidence to support the need for this for future events.
