Wires, leads and stuff
Information required
Where is the best place to recycle a bag of leads, wires, and telephone adaptors etc? Will charity shops take them or a recycling bin somewhere?

FYI the British Heart Foundation take electrical goods esp. white goods, but cables/leads perhaps way too low-level for them.

You can put them in a WEEE (Waste Electrical/Electronic Equipment) bin. There is one at the Green Lanes end off West Green Road.
You can take them to a recycling centre but only if you have a car. There is no access for pedestrians at either of the borough's recycling centres now.
