Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all

Many thanks for all your advice on my previous posts last year. Am now putting down wood floors in my house in Risley Avenue and would appreciate the advice of people who have already done so.

We have concrete floors on our ground floor and there is high humidity in some walls (but no rising or penetrating damp detected by several surveyors). Would it be prudent to go for engineered rather than solid wood? Have other people put down wooden floors in Risley avenue houses? Any problems such as warping?

Also, we have the original wooden floors upstairs underneath a carpet. Have any Tower Gardens residents renovated these?

Many thanks

Constantina
