You can also help rescue centres by making sure your own pet is neutered and microchipped.

(If your pet is already microchipped, make sure you have a record of your pet's microchip number and check that your contact details are up to date on the microchip database. If you are unsure if your pet is microchipped or need the microchip details, just get your vet to scan your pet for free).
