Writers' group in the area?

Does anyone know of a writers' group in the area?

I write short fiction and would really like to join one.

I tried the group at The Big Green Bookshop and it didn't suit me - too large and they cover the table with junk food - fine for most people but I don't have enough self control not to put myself in a sugar coma :-)
