Flying Scotsman TV programme, Mon 7 Mar, 2030 BBC4
A 30 minute programme on its return and the first excursion from Kings Cross. News footage on the day included helicopter shots approaching Finsbury Park by the rainbow student residences and over Stroud Green Road for local interest. And there should be a segment about Flying Scotsman in the BBC1 programme Inside Out London, Mon 7th 1930-2000. Inside Out will be on iPlayer for 30 days, and I expect the other one too.

There's a very well done 'cut-away' illustration of 'Flying Scotsman' on the Daily Mail website here:

PS Next scheduled steam in London is Sat 2 April, Waterloo, 0800, Tornado on a trip to Exeter, and a lunchtime Orient Express tour from Victoria (1228, Tornado again) the following Friday. Otherwise, don't hold your breath, sorry.
