West Coast Railway Co back on the Main Line

As its not been mentioned on here, I thought I'd report that the ORR has lifted its Prohibition Notice on WCRC on 23 March and replaced it with an Improvement Notice. ORR said that it was satisfied that WCRC was putting in place the requirements in the Prohibition Notice but would be keeping a close eye on the company for as long as the Improvement Notice remained in place.

WCRC were back on Network Rail the same day, but one of their Class 47 diesels expired while hauling an excursion and had to be rescued!

I'm sure Gordon will know when the next steam excursion from King's Cross will be, but we won't be seeing any steam trains on the Tottenham & Hampstead Line until February 2017 at the very earliest.
