Is 1975 a guess, Hugh? Looks like it might be a bit before, judging by the vehicles.

It's what I received it as. I think that particular Simca 1100 model was 74-79. The Transit model, just behind it, was introduced in 1971. That might help with dates.

Thanks, Ian. Yes, something's cooking. What was going to be a piece for HoL rather sucked me in and has ended up as a book. Not sure what I'll do with it yet. HHS might want it, but to avoid the copexities of that route, I may decide to just publish it online in some form. What with that and other stuff I've been doing for HHS, my last significant pice on HoL was on Harringay House Gardens back in May! (Also downloadable as a pdf/online book - at he bottom of the page linked to).

To some of us these pictures are yesterday.  It feels strange that others should regard them as history.
